EEO Mandatory Training

Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Training
Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Training- The Army requires that all new federal employees, military supervisors of civilians, and newly appointed supervisors must complete a one-time classroom setting Prevention of Sexual Harassment training. Thereafter, all federal employees must complete a refresher course biennially (every two years) that is presented in a classroom setting or on-line.

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Training
(Supervisors and Managers Only) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Training- The Army has mandatory training for newly appointed managers and supervisors. The courses are contained in the basic supervisory/ managerial correspondence course available through the civilian personnel offices. The Commander may also establish his/her own training policy requirements beyond this distribution of a policy memorandum, and/or via video technology. The EEO training will be conducted annually. Such training may include: Affirmative Employment Program (AEP), harassment, retaliation, reasonable accommodation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), complaints processing, etc.

Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation (No FEAR) Act Training
Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation (No FEAR) Act Training- Initial No FEAR Act training for the civilian workforce will be accomplished within 90 days of assignment for newcomers, and every two-years thereafter. This may be presented in a classroom setting or as an on-line course.
