About the Minority College Relations Program

The Minority College Relations Program was established in 1996 by Presidential Executive Orders 12876, 12900, and 13021. The mission of the Minority College Relations Program is to develop collaborative programs within the Army Sustainment Command and Joint Munitions Command that will allow minority institutions to participate in Federal programs and thus enhance the commands’ future readiness through these partnerships.

The Minority College Relations Program offers intern placement for college juniors and seniors. Those selected for assignments work at various Army installations for either 10 or 15 weeks.

The Minority College Relations Program executes its vision by expanding mutually beneficial partnering opportunities between the U.S. Army and educational minority institutions.
