Minority College Relations Program - Intern Program

Eligibility:

CheckMark Students attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), Hispanic Serving Institution, Tribal College/University or other minority serving institution

CheckMark Students currently enrolled in a four-year program OR recent graduate within the previous six months

CheckMark Be at least a college Junior

CheckMark Be a U.S. citizen

CheckMark Pass an Army-conducted background search

Selections: Assignment at specific Army facilities depends upon the work to be accomplished and qualifications of the intern. Selection and assignment of interns to specific Army locations is made by the authorized contractor after collaboration and approval with the Army.

Benefits: A stipend will be paid to interns for the duration of the particular internship program. Housing and daily transportation to and from the work site will be provided by the program.

Work location: You could be accepted for an internship at ASC/JMC headquarters on Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois, or at any one of the co-sponsoring commands’ subordinate sites. Both ASC and JMC have a presence from coast-to-coast within the U.S. Students will not be placed at any foreign or overseas sites.
